Can I let other members of my family install iMac apps on their Macs?

I have a number of applications on an iMac, such as iMovie, Pages and Numbers, that came with the machine and so were not purchased from the App Store. Can I let other members of my family install these apps on their Macs? We are all now running El Capitan.

The family organiser / guardian can install any of the Apps in the family on any or all of the Macs in the family, except for those Apps where it is explicitly forbidden (usually external apps). All Apple Apps, that I am aware off falls in the first category.

Just ensure that all family members are part and so registered of the household.

Thank you. It is good to know that we should be able to do what we want. However, I can't work out how to do it! The instructions say go to the Mac App Store, choose the Purchased tab and select the person in the family group. But the applications that I want to install on another Mac are ones that were provided with the original iMac and not purchased via the App Store, so they don't appear in the list. Any suggestions?

Thanks again Leo. I discovered that iMovie was, for some reason, hidden on the App Store. So I 'unhid' it and was then able to install it on the Macbook. I then realised that Pages and Numbers on my iMac were iWork 08 vintage and so no longer available from the App Store. So I simply copied the apps (and their supporting files) across. So I have now achieved what I wanted. Thanks.
